Jackie Shannon has worked in various roles in the customer success and retail industry since 2007. Jackie began their career as an On-Air Talent for DAV Productions in 2007. In 2009, they joined U.S. Concepts 'MKTG' as a Promotion Team. In 2010, they were an Account Executive for Integrated Marketing and a Freelance for G2 Worldwide. In the same year, they were also the 2010 Commencement Speaker for the College of Media, University of Illinois. In 2012, they joined Catalina as a Manager, Retail Brand Development. From 2015 to 2018, they worked for emnos as a Solutions Lead, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. In 2022, they joined Instacart as the Director, Customer Success.

Jackie Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism, French, and Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2006 and 2010. During this time, they also completed a program at the Institut catholique de Paris in Media, Film, and Literature in 2009, as well as a program at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Italian Food, Culture, and Tourism in 2008. In 2015, they also obtained a Digital Data Analytics & Visualization certification from the Charles H. Sandage Department of Advertising at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
