Linda Dorcena Forry is a trustee at Eversource Energy and a former state senator from the First Suffolk District in Massachusetts. Linda was the first woman and person of color to represent the district, which includes Dorchester, Mattapan, South Boston, and Hyde Park. Forry was appointed assistant majority whip and senate chair of the Joint Committee on Housing during their time in the state senate. Linda also served as vice-chair of the Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Export Development and as a member of the Joint Committees on Transportation, Marijuana Policy and Children, and Families and Persons with Disabilities. Forry led the Special Senate Committee on Drug Addiction Treatment Options and was a member of the Take the Lead campaign, which promotes dialogue on race in Boston sports. In addition to their work in the state senate, Forry also hosted the St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast in South Boston for two years.
Linda Dorcena Forry began their educational career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Boston College. Linda then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
