Stefan Britting

Stefan Britting has extensive experience in software engineering and IT consulting. Stefan is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at everstox. Prior to this, they worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at the same company. From 2019 to 2021, they ran their own IT consulting and software development company called Britting IT Consulting & Softwaredevelopment, where they provided individual software development services to small and medium-sized companies. Stefan also co-founded ReadNext in 2019, where they worked as a software developer and helped online news and blog platforms recommend relevant articles to readers in real-time. Stefan was a participant in the BIP-ACCELERATOR program in 2018, where they worked on digitizing the German healthcare system using blockchain technology. Earlier in their career, Stefan worked as a Werkstudent in key account management sales at Knorr-Bremse and as an intern at Osram Opto Semiconductors in Penang, Malaysia, where they developed a systematic approach to reduce headcount in wafer production. Stefan also worked as an intern at PRIME SHOES GmbH. Stefan possesses a strong tech stack including Python, Flask, MongoDB, JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure.

Stefan Britting has a diverse education history with experience in various fields. Stefan completed a Semester Abroad at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2018-2019, focusing on Intelligent Systems & AI. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Industrial Engineering) from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 2017-2019.

In 2016-2017, Stefan attended NEXT Academy Kuala Lumpur where they completed an intensive programming course called Coding Bootcamp, specializing in Computer Programming. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, between 2013 and 2016. As part of their bachelor's degree, they also participated in an Auslandssemester at Hanyang University in 2015, focusing on Industrial Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Stefan has obtained certifications in various areas. In 2012, they received the Cambridge Certificate (C1) from LAL Language Centres. Stefan also completed a Full Stack Web Development Coding Bootcamp at NEXT Academy in Kuala Lumpur in 2016.
