In 2016, Pia began their software engineering career as a Software Engineer Intern at Boingo Wireless. They later transitioned to a full-time Software Engineer role at the same company from 2017 to 2020. During their time at Boingo Wireless, Pia took on various responsibilities, including directing the development of customer portals, optimizing web services, leading user research, and collaborating with marketing on customer retention campaigns.

In 2019, Pia briefly worked as a Web Developer and UX Consultant at Red Rabbit Automation.
