Polly Carver-Kimm

Polly Carver-Kimm is an experienced communications professional with extensive expertise in media relations, public affairs, and journalism. Currently serving as the Media Relations Coordinator at EveryStep since June 2021, Polly also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Drake University, teaching Public Affairs Reporting. With a long-standing career as a Freelance Performer at Under the Stairs Productions, Polly has extensive voice work experience. Prior roles include Communications Director at the Iowa Department of Public Health, where responsibilities encompassed serving as lead spokesperson, media training, and overseeing media inquiries. Additionally, Polly worked as Press Secretary for the Iowa Governor's Office, managed news content as News Director for the Des Moines Radio Group, and held several positions across multiple radio stations. Polly holds a Master of Communications from Drake University and a Bachelor of Science in Radio/TV Broadcasting from the University of Northern Iowa.
