Marcy Bauer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Marcy is currently working at EVgo as the Senior Vice President since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Account Management from January 2020 to January 2021. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Director of Program Operations at EVgo. Before joining EVgo, Marcy spent four years, from 2015 to 2019, as the Business Development Manager for OEM Accounts, where they played a key role in building the nation's largest privately funded network of fast chargers for electric vehicle fleets.
Before their roles at EVgo, Marcy worked at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center as the Clean Transportation Coordinator from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they had an independent consulting role in Environmental Science and Public Health at Healthysaurus from 2010 to 2015. Marcy also has experience as an Environmental Health Manager at the PHS District Health Department from 2005 to 2010.
In 2003, Marcy worked as an Environmental Education Coordinator at Miami University, where they developed and implemented environmental education programs. Marcy started their career in the U.S. Army, serving in various roles such as Analyst, Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Personnel Officer, specializing in Military Intelligence from 1998 to 2003. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Vanderbilt Center for Space Physiology and Medicine and interned at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Marcy Bauer received their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in 1998. Marcy then attended Miami University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science, with a focus on GIS and Environmental Management. Prior to their enrollment at Vanderbilt, Marcy also studied Biology at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1996.
