Persis Vakil

Persis Vakil has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They started their career as a Programmer Analyst at LINKINDIA, where they gained experience in gathering requirements, designing, developing, and maintaining applications for the company's shipping requirements. They also conducted corporate training and seminars, provided end-user support, and prepared user documentation.

After their time at LINKINDIA, Persis Vakil joined Syntel in 1996 and held various positions, including Program Analyst, Project Leader, Presales and Solutions Specialist, Project Manager, and Delivery Manager.

In 2010, Persis Vakil became a Delivery Director at Syntel and was responsible for the service delivery and management of the Insurance Business Unit. They later became the Delivery Director and Head of Personal Lines Insurance, before taking on the role of Delivery Director and Service Delivery Head for the Insurance Business Unit.

In 2016, Persis Vakil transitioned to the role of Sr. Delivery Director and Global Head at Syntel, focusing on the PDAC (Property, Data and Account Capture) domain. They eventually became the Director and Head of Client Solutions before leaving the company in 2018.

Persis Vakil then joined Atos Syntel in 2018 as a Global Delivery Head and Director of the Insurance Business Unit. They held this position until 2021 when they became the Global Delivery Head and Vice President of the Insurance Business Unit.

In 2022, Persis Vakil joined Atos as the Vice President and Global Delivery Head of FSI - Insurance. They later took on the role of Vice President and Delivery Head of R&S Digital Americas (GDC).

Currently, Persis Vakil is working at Eviden as the Vice President and Delivery Head of Retail & Logistics, R&S Digital Americas.

Persis Vakil has a Master's Degree in MA (Counseling Psychology) from the University of Mumbai, which they obtained in 1992. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in BA (Psychology) at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai in 1990. Persis also attended St. Xavier's College, Mumbai for their HSC degree in Arts from 1985-1987. Persis completed their high school education at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, specializing in ICSE in 1985. In addition to their formal education, Persis has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications in Vision And Leadership Unfolding Excellence for Executive Leaders from INSEAD Executive Education in 2022, innovation in a Digital Age from INSEAD Executive Education in 2021, customer centricity from Deep-Insight: the B2B CX specialists in 2021, Executive General Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2019, leadership development from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 2013, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2004, and GNIIT & Advanced Diploma in Systems Management from the National Institute of Information Technology in 1995.
