Shrabanti Sen

Shrabanti Sen is the Director of MLE at Evidence Action. Prior to this, they worked as a Research and Evaluation Specialist at UNICEF in Kathmandu, Nepal from July 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for providing overall Research and Evaluation support to the UNICEF Nepal Country Office (NCO). This included ensuring that the UNICEF office and national partners have a well-prioritised and realistic plan of research and evaluation activities, measuring change in conditions in the country or region, building capacities of Country Office staff and national partners, coordinating and networking for knowledge creation, and overseeing research and evaluation processes.

Shrabanti Sen has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, a Masters in Population Studies (MPS) from the International Institute of Population Sciences, and a Masters in Statistics (MA) from Sambalpur University.
