Patient Preferences - Global Head (senior Director) at Evidera

Sebastian Heidenreich has extensive work experience in the field of patient preferences. Sebastian currently holds the position of Global Head (Senior Director) of Patient Preferences at Evidera, where they lead a team of approximately 30 individuals. In this role, they support sponsors in integrating patients' voices into healthcare decision-making processes and advancing patient-focused drug development. Sebastian has also served as a Scientist and Scientific Lead in patient preference studies at Evidera, conducting research and providing support in various areas such as endpoint selection, benefit-risk assessment, and engagement with healthcare stakeholders.

In addition to their role at Evidera, Sebastian is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Calgary, where they share their expertise with students. Sebastian has also worked as an Honorary Research Fellow and a Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen, focusing on research in the field of patient preferences.

Before their academic and industry positions, Sebastian worked as a Lecturer in Economics at Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU).

Sebastian Heidenreich has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU). Sebastian also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, where they were part of the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics. Additionally, Sebastian has completed a PhD in the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics from the University of Aberdeen.
