Thomas Unger began their work experience in 1989 at MITEM Corporation as a Senior Programmer, where they developed, maintained, and improved various mid-sized applications such as "Connect" and "CDX4". Thomas then joined eVigils in 1995 as a Senior Computer Programmer, specializing in communication and integration software. In 2010, Thomas Unger transitioned to the New Kadampa Tradition, taking on the role of Sound for a period of five years. Finally, in 2014, they became self-employed as an inventor.
Thomas Unger obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Michigan. Thomas attended the university from 1981 to 1985.
