Esko Freese

Esko Freese has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Esko started their career in 1991 at Ericsson (Finland), where they worked on their Masters Thesis and held roles as a Designer and Systems Designer until 1996.

Esko then moved to Ericsson in Sweden and worked as a Manager and Technology Specialist on an expat assignment until 2000.

From 2000 to 2001, they worked at F-Secure as Director of Product Management for the Wireless division.

Esko then joined TeliaSonera (Telia Mobile) as a Technology Specialist from 2001 to 2006.

Starting in 2006, they worked at SmartTrust AB as Technology Director until 2011.

Esko then joined Polystar OSIX AB as a Product Manager from 2011 to 2012.

After that, they worked at Mobile Arts AB as a Product Management & Presales professional from 2012 to 2015.

From 2016, they worked at Profit Software Ltd as Director of Technical Sales.

Esko'smost recent position was with Scania CV Aktiebolag, where they held the role of Title starting in March 2018.

Esko Freese began their education by attending Forssa vocational school from 1980 to 1983, where they received a Technician degree in Motor/car mechanic. Esko then pursued further studies at the Technical Institute of Turku from 1983 to 1987, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering (automotives) with a B.Sc. qualification. During the years 1987 to 1988, Esko attended the "Reserve officer school" in Finland, where they obtained the rank of 2nd lieutenant and received training in Military Service/officer in reserve. Finally, from 1990 to 1992, they attended the Technical University of Tampere, where they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in IT and Business Economics.
