Stefan Totalov has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Stefan started their career as an Engineer in electricity distribution at EVN Bulgaria in 2010. Stefan worked on tasks such as parametrization and reading of electrical meters, involving meters in the system for remote reading, and making tenders for equipment.
In 2011, they became an Engineer in relay protection, responsible for constructing and reconstructing distribution substations, managing electrical maintenance activities, and organizing promotional events and exhibitions.
From 2012 to 2017, Totalov served as the Coordinator of the Mobile Cable Laboratories and Engineer in Relay Protection at EVN Bulgaria. Stefan'sresponsibilities included coordinating mobile laboratories, discovering cable faults, testing insulation of cables, and other related tasks.
Since 2017, they have been the Head of Team Cable Mobile Labs at Elektrorazpredelenie Yug, where they are responsible for coordinating the company's mobile laboratories, organizing public procurement procedures, and managing warehouses for cable accessories.
In November 2022, Totalov will join EVN Bulgaria as the Head of Department "Facility management and Car fleet," where they will be involved in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of buildings, as well as managing facilities services.
Stefan Totalov has a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, as evident from their education history. Stefan pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from the Technical University of Sofia, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they attended the Professional High School of Electronic and Electrotechnik (formerly known as TET), where they specialized in the field of electrician training. Stefan then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing their studies at the Technical University of Sofia in 2013.
