Faisal Abdullah

Faisal Abdullah has a strong background in academia and cybersecurity. Faisal started their career at Lewis University in 2005, where they held several roles, including Tenured Professor, Chair of Management Information Systems, and Director of M.S. Information Security Management. During their time at Lewis University, they developed and launched seven new academic programs.

In 2018, Abdullah joined Evolve Security Academy as an Advisor and later became the Sr. Director of Academy and Cybersecurity Consultant. Faisal also held the position of VP of Academy at Evolve Security Academy in 2021. Abdullah then moved to Offensive Security in 2021, where they served as the Head of Academics and Partnership Initiatives.

Currently, Abdullah is the Chief Academic Officer at Evolve Security, a position they assumed in October 2022. Throughout their career, Abdullah has demonstrated a passion for education and cybersecurity, making significant contributions to both academia and industry.

Faisal Abdullah has a strong educational background in the field of Information Systems and Business. Faisal earned their Doctor of Science (D.Sc) degree in Information Systems from Robert Morris University between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Hawaii Pacific University from 1999 to 2001. Faisal's undergraduate education was in Business, as they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Narsee Monjee from 1992 to 1997. Moreover, Faisal has also obtained additional certifications such as the AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), although the dates of certification acquisition are not provided.
