Elizabeth Hatcher Frush has extensive experience in the field of computational chemistry and drug discovery. Elizabeth is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Evotec since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Tessella from January 2019 to June 2021. From 2012 to 2018, they held the position of Director of Computational Chemistry at Cloud Pharmaceuticals, Inc (formerly TeraDiscoveries, Inc.), where they led various drug discovery projects and developed computational methods for in-silico chemical library design. Elizabeth also has research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and Duke University, where they conducted studies on molecular dynamics and electronic structure simulations of DNA, peptide nucleic acid (PNA), and carbohydrates. Elizabeth began their career as a Research Assistant at Penn State University, focusing on theoretical methods and molecular dynamics simulations. Elizabeth has published several papers and showcased their expertise in various scientific conferences.
Elizabeth Hatcher Frush received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The Ohio State University in 2001. Elizabeth later obtained their Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University in 2006.
