Ruwan Welaratna

Ruwan Welaratna has a long history of work experience. Ruwan began their career in 1995 as a Project Leader at Data Physics Corporation, where they collaborated on system architecture for a line of Dynamic Signal Analyzers and led a small team in coding extensive multi-threaded Windows MFC code for control and presentation and extensive C and ASM DSP code for measurement including sampling, filtering, spectral estimation, and signal generation. In 2005, they joined Metrotech as a Senior DSP Engineer, where they introduced a new product concept to the European market, joined salespeople on customer visits, gave technical product presentations and demonstrations, and participated in collaborative product definitions, resulting in three new Utility Line Locator products. In 2009, they joined Evo as both the CEO and CTO.

Ruwan Welaratna received a B.Sc. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College between 1990 and 1994. Ruwan also attended City College of San Francisco.
