Ricardo Carvalho

Ricardo Carvalho is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in investment and strategy roles across various sectors, including food, life sciences, and technology. Currently serving as the Head of Investment and Operating Partner at Sparkfood since March 2021, Ricardo also holds board member positions at BCF Life Sciences and Evra, the latter where Ricardo is also acting as Interim CEO. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Vice President of Food & Ag Tech at SONAE and leadership roles at Sonae MC, Sonae, and McKinsey & Company. Academic credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience from King's College London, an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and executive education at London Business School.
