Sixto Quintana Juncosa

Sixto Quintana Juncosa has a diverse work experience history. Sixto started their career as a volunteer animal keeper at Zoo de Barcelona in 2006, where they were responsible for the care and maintenance of animals in the Terrarium. Sixto also conducted environmental education activities for school groups. From 2010 to 2012, Sixto worked as an intern at Zoo de Barcelona, focusing on animal behavior observation and creating ethograms.

In 2012, Sixto undertook an internship at CRARC Centre de recuperació d'amfibis i rèptils de Catalunya, a wildlife recovery center. Here, they gained experience in environmental education, animal care, wildlife conservation projects, scientific research, and veterinary support.

Following this, Sixto joined Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services in 2013 as a Meet & Greet service provider for tourists. Sixto was responsible for welcoming and assisting guests on arrival and coordinating logistical aspects of their transportation.

In 2014, Sixto worked as a collaborateur at Carrefour Belgium. Then, they joined EVS Broadcast Equipment in 2015 as a QC Engineer and later transitioned to a Product Owner role in 2017. The specific responsibilities and achievements during their time at EVS are not provided.

Sixto Quintana Juncosa pursued their education in a chronological manner. Sixto first attended Sant Ignasi-Sarria School where they completed their Bachillerato degree in Ciencias. Following that, they enrolled at Universitat de Barcelona from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organisms and Systems Biology. In 2010, they participated in the Erasmus program at the University of Antwerp, specializing in Zoology/Animal Biology. Finally, from 2011 to 2012, Sixto Quintana Juncosa obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biodiversity from Universitat de Barcelona.
