Valentine Liesse

Valentine Liesse began their work experience in 2021 as a student in an IT support service role at NRB. In 2022, they joined EVS Broadcast Equipment as an intern in computer vision/deep learning, where they conducted research for their master thesis on depth estimation from sports broadcast videos. They developed unsupervised deep learning techniques to evaluate the depth of pixels in single images without ground truth data. Later in 2022, Valentine transitioned to the role of Innovation Engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment.

Valentine Liesse completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in Signal Processing and Intelligent Robotics at the University of Liège from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from the same university, studying from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their academic degrees, Valentine also earned certifications in SAS, including being a SAS Certified Predictive Modeler using SAS Enterprise Miner 14, obtained in June 2022, and completing the Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner course in March 2022.
