Debobroto Banerjee

Debobroto Banerjee has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Debobroto currently holds the position of Specialty Alloys Director - Asia Pacific at ESAB since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director & CEO at EWAC ALLOYS LIMITED starting from 2018.

From 2012 to 2017, Banerjee worked at GE, where they held various roles, including Country General Manager - Industrial ECS, GE Steam Power System, and Commercial Director - South Asia. In these roles, they were responsible for business development, sales, and strategy execution in the industrial and energy sectors.

Before GE, Banerjee worked at BP from 2008 to 2012 as a Business Development Manager - Petrochemicals and later as a Business Development Manager & Chief of Staff. Debobroto played a key role in BP's entry into the Indian market and successfully executed market entry strategies for solar and petrochemicals.

Prior to BP, Banerjee spent time at Castrol as a Regional Manager - South India from 2005 to 2007. Debobroto also worked at Saint-Gobain as the National Sales Manager - India (Grains&Powders) from 2002 to 2005 and at Saint-Gobain Abrasives as a Sales Manager from 1997 to 2002.
