Christian Arnold has extensive experience in the energy industry. In 2014, they started working at EWE AG, where they held various positions including Executive Vice President Business Innovation & Chief Innovation Officer, Managing Director of enera, Senior Vice President of Technology & Innovation, and Vice President of Research and Development. Christian joined EIGENSONNE in 2018 as CEO and Executive Board Member, focusing on bringing clean, smart energy to every roof. Christian Arnold's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Virginia Tech, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering. Christian completed their studies in 2003 and obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree in Civil Engineering.
In 2006, Christian enrolled at Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Real Estate Economics and Management. Christian completed this program in 2008 and obtained their M.Eng. degree.
In 2021, Christian attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and completed a program in Digital Transformation, although the field of study is not specified. That same year, they obtained a certification in DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION: PLATFORM STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS from Emeritus.
Additional certifications include a Dipl. Ing. Civil Engineering certification obtained from the University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg in October 2003, and an M.Eng. certification obtained from the same institution in April 2008.
