James Manlapid

James Manlapid has extensive work experience as a software engineer. James is currently working as a Founding Engineer at ExaCare since May 2022. Prior to this, they were a Sr. Full Stack Engineer at K Health from December 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they delivered the frontend user experience with precision and established automated code quality standards.

Before K Health, Manlapid worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Kanna from May 2020 to December 2020. James created reusable React web UI components and collaborated with the CPO and CTO on technical implementation. James also worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at David Energy from April 2020 to December 2020. There, they architected a server-side rendered frontend application and formalized best practices for build tools and test-driven development.

Prior to that, Manlapid worked as a Software Engineer at Compass / Spring from October 2018 to March 2020. James led the company's adoption of testing the frontend UI and developed a consumer search web application. James also worked as a Software Engineer at Spring Inc. from May 2017 to October 2018, where they focused on ecommerce site reliability and developed React components.

Earlier in their career, Manlapid worked as a Sr. Software Engineer, R&D at LiveAnswer, Inc. from November 2016 to April 2017. James was part of the Research & Development unit and developed complex apps under aggressive deadlines. James also served as a Lead Software Engineer at Webjunto from July 2015 to October 2016, where they architected application infrastructures and developed codependent features in multi-platform web and mobile applications.
