Michael Duprez

Michael Duprez is a CPA/CFE with a diverse range of experience in finance and accounting. Michael most recently served as the VP of Finance at Exact Customer starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a CFO Consultant and Chief Financial Officer at Context Capital Partners from 2019 to 2023, where they provided strategic advice and oversaw financial matters for various portfolio companies.

Michael also held the role of Director of Accounting at Sagent Lending Technologies from 2018 to 2019, where they established and managed the accounting department for a fintech joint venture. Before that, they worked as a Controller at Seneca Mortgage Servicing LLC from 2014 to 2018, managing the accounting function and leading a team of accountants.

Earlier in their career, Michael served as an Accounting Manager at Pate Dawson Company from 2013 to 2014, overseeing daily accounting operations and conducting financial reporting and analysis. Michael also worked as a Senior Auditor and Fraud Accountant at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. from 2012 to 2013, where they performed audits and assisted in forensic accounting investigations.

Michael began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008 as an Experienced Associate, conducting financial audit services for the asset management community. Michael worked on a range of engagements for hedge funds and private equity firms.

Michael Duprez, CPA/CFE received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Hofstra University in 2008. Michael also holds several additional certifications, including being a Licensed and Certified Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician from the Springfield Volunteer Ambulance Corp in Springfield, PA as well as an EMT - BASIC from the New York State Department of Health. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications as a CFE from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and as a Certified Public Accountant from New York.
