Leo Sherwin has had an extensive career as a Principal Software Engineer, with experience in various companies and industries. Leo started their career at Fairchild ATE as a Software Engineer from 1981 to 1983. Leo then moved on to Raytheon Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 1983 to 1986. Leo then joined EMC Corporation in 1986 and served as a Principal Software Engineer until 1993, contributing to the design and development of various subsystems. Leo then worked at Chipcom from 1993 to 1995, where they developed embedded software and managed hub using SNMP. From 1995 to 1999, they worked at 3Com Corporation, where they played a role in the development of the CB9000 Enterprise Switch and designed and implemented various applications. Leo then spent ten years at Juniper Networks from 1999 to 2009 as a Principal Software Engineer, working on policy-based routing and Quality of Service (QoS) application development. Leo then joined EMC in 2009 as a Principal Software Engineer and Project Leader until 2011, where they specified, designed, and developed distributed application firmware for the Symmetrix VMAX storage platform. From 2011 to 2017, Leo worked at SimpliVity Corporation as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on the design and development of software for the SimpliVity storage stack. Currently, they are employed at ExaGrid as a Principal Software Engineer.

Leo Sherwin received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1981. Leo went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University, which they completed in 1991.
