Christopher Duncan

Christopher Duncan has over 30 years of work experience in various roles in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Their most recent position is Director of Operations and Quality Systems at Exai Bio since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Standard BioTools (formerly Fluidigm Corporation) as Director, Quality Systems from September 2017 to December 2022.

Christopher also has experience as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Diassess Inc. from February 2017 to May 2017, and as VP of Manufacturing at diaDexus from August 2011 to June 2016.

Before that, Christopher had several roles at Quidel, including Director of Operations from March 2008 to June 2011, Manager, Operations from December 2003 to March 2009, and Manager, Manufacturing from December 1999 to December 2003.

Christopher also worked at Metra Biosystems as a Manufacturing Chemist II/III and Manufacturing Supervisor from November 1997 to December 1999, and at Matrix Pharmaceuticals A/S as a QC Chemist from February 1997 to November 1997.

Christopher's early career includes a role as a Production Associate at Chemtrak from 1994 to 1996, where they assisted with the development and production of immunoassays.

From 1992 to 1994, Christopher Duncan attended the University of California, Santa Cruz. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology, specifically focusing on the field of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.
