Milenia Ramírez-Waltrip has over 18 years of work experience in various roles. Starting in 2004, they worked at UPS and held positions as a Trainer Specialist and Flight Coordinator until 2021. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Human Services Specialist at Seven Counties Services. From 2021 to 2022, Milenia served as a School Social Worker at Jefferson County Public Schools. Currently, they are the Director of Workforce Development and Community Engagement at Excel Services, Inc.

Milenia Ramírez-Waltrip holds a Master's degree in Social Work, which was completed at the University of Louisville from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville College of Arts & Sciences, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.
