Lyndon Bowen Jr.

Lyndon Bowen Jr. has a diverse work experience, beginning with an apprenticeship at the Shodor Education Foundation, Inc. in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Web Development Intern, Information Technology and Services Professional, and Student IT Advisory Board at North Carolina Central University. In 2017, they were a Duke University Press Digital Strategy & Systems Intern. In 2018, they were a Global Information Systems (GIS) Next-Gen Network and Data Analyst Intern at Eli Lilly and Company, a HBCUvc Fellow Class 2, a Campus Ambassador, Data Analytics & Marketing Intern, and a Digital Content and User Engagement Intern at SpokeHub. In 2019, they were an Emerging Digital Technology Intern at Johnson & Johnson and a 2020 Venture for America Fellow at Venture For America. Currently, they are a Data Product Manager and Community Platform & Analytics Manager at Excelerate America.

Lyndon Bowen Jr. attended Josephine Dobbs Clement Early College High School from 2013 to 2017, graduating with a High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate. Lyndon then attended North Carolina Central University from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business. In 2019, they completed a 2019 TAVtech Fellow program at New York University in Computer Science, and a Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School in Business Administration and Management, General. Lyndon is currently attending Stanford University for an Ethics, Public Policy and Technological Change Seminar.
