Marko Spanja

Marko Spanja is a marine engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a 3rd Engineer at Excelerate Energy since April 2020. Previously, Marko held positions as a 3rd and 4th Engineer at Exmar from December 2015 to April 2020 and worked as a 4th Engineer and Engine Cadet with The OSM Maritime Group and K-Line LNG Shipping (UK) from February 2014 to December 2013. Marko's earlier experience includes roles such as Skipper/Engineer with “Veritas Yachting” in 2010 and Base Manager for Yacht202 in 2009, as well as after-sales service for “Elegance” and “Bandido” Motor Yachts with Drettmann Yachts in 2008 and for “Princess” Motor Yachts with Jadran Nautika in 2007. Marko's educational background includes a degree in Marine Engineering from a high school in Sibenik, Croatia.
