Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship within the technology and training sectors. As Co-Founder of Excella since 2002, Steve has significantly contributed to the company's growth. In addition, Steve served as Chief Executive Officer at NextUp Solutions from November 2019 to August 2024, where the company became a leading provider of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban training on the East Coast. Concurrently, Steve held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Exelaration during the same period, overseeing a premier software development partnership that pioneered the Professional Internship Organization model. Earlier career positions include Principal and Co-Founder at Perspective Technology Corporation and Consultant at Accenture. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Music, and Business Administration from Hope College.
