John Lechner

John Lechner's work experience spans several decades and includes various roles in the oil and gas industry. John began their career as a Junior Field Engineer, providing wireline services for multiple US oil and gas companies. John then progressed to roles as a Field Engineer, Field Support Engineer, Senior Field Engineer, and General Field Engineer.

In 1988, Lechner joined Schlumberger, where they held positions such as Location Manager, Internal Auditor, and IPM Project/Operations/Region Manager. John managed drilling projects in Australia, New Zealand, and the Gulf of Thailand, as well as conducted operational and financial audits. Lechner also contributed as an International Clients Director and IPM Vice President, overseeing marketing, sales, and project management for international oil and gas companies.

Lechner's career continued at Parker Drilling Company, where they served as a Senior Business Development Manager, and OilSERV, where they held the role of Vice President. At OilSERV, they were responsible for the business aspects of integrated service contracts.

Lechner then joined Archer - the well company, where they held several positions, including Senior Business Development Manager, President of the North Sea Region and EVP, President of the Eastern Hemisphere, and Chief Executive Officer. In these roles, they managed P&L and business responsibilities, identified growth opportunities, and provided support for various business units.

Most recently, Lechner assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer at Excellence Logging Services.

John Lechner attended the University of Notre Dame from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1986, they enrolled in the Master of Science program in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Houston, and completed their studies in 1987.
