Patricia Bomba has extensive experience in the medical field, particularly in the areas of geriatrics and palliative care. Patricia began their career at Excellus BCBS in 2000, where they held various roles including Former Senior Medical Director of Geriatrics & Palliative Care and VP & Medical Director of Geriatrics. In these positions, they designed and oversaw the implementation of community projects focused on end-of-life and palliative care. Patricia Bomba completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Pre-Med from Immaculata University in the years 1968 to 1972. Patricia then pursued further education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine from 1972 to 1976. During the years 1976 to 1979, Bomba attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry for an Internal Medicine Residency program. Additionally, Bomba enrolled in the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.
