Owen Torrey

Owen Torrey is a seasoned writer and editor with a comprehensive background in literary arts. Currently serving as a Staff Writer at Exclaim! Media since June 2018, Owen has also gained valuable experience as an Editorial Assistant and Intern at Penguin Random House Canada from January 2022 to July 2024. Owen's earlier roles include working as a Writing Center Tutor at Harvard University from September 2018 to December 2021 and serving as President of The Harvard Advocate from January 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, Owen completed a Communications Internship at the Center for International Environmental Law during the summer of 2020. Owen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Literary Arts with a focus on Poetry at Brown University, beginning in August 2024.
