Heather Finlay

Heather Finlay has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Heather currently holds the position of VP, Medicinal Chemistry at Exelixis since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Agios Pharmaceuticals as Vice President from October 2021 to September 2022, and as Senior Director from January 2021 to October 2021. Heather also has a long tenure at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they were Director from January 1998 to January 2021.

Heather Finlay received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Durham University in 1990. Heather then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at the University of New Brunswick from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they undertook a post-doctoral fellowship in Medicinal Chemistry at Dartmouth College from 1995 to 1997.
