Matthew Buhrmann has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Matthew started their career at Merck in 1989, where they held various roles including Specialty Support & Training for Medical Science Liaisons and Senior Business Director. Matthew then joined Genentech in 2009, serving as Associate Director and later Director of Thought Leader Services for Breast Cancer. In 2018, Buhrmann joined Exelixis as the Executive Director of Marketing on the GU Key Customer Team. Throughout their career, Buhrmann has been recognized for their leadership and achievement, receiving awards such as Manager of the Year and VP Club award.
Matthew Buhrmann received their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioresource Science (Pre-Med) from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1985 to 1989. Later, they obtained their Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's College of California between 1998 and 2000.
