Mi Chen

Mi Chen, PhD, is a Senior Scientist I at Exelixis, with prior experience as an Associate Research Scientist and Senior Scientist at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Mi Chen's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree with honors in Chemistry from Nicholls State University. Research activities included the development of GUMBOS and NanoGUMBOS for biological applications under the supervision of Dr. Isiah M, as well as significant projects involving electrochemistry and bioelectrochemistry with carbon nanomaterials, and investigations into metal-free organocatalysts for carbon dioxide reduction.
