Deepak Biswas

Deepak Biswas has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and SRE. Deepak is currently an Engineering Manager at Atlassian, where they have held various leadership roles, including Chaos Engineering and Confluence SRE. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Opsgenie SRE.

Before joining Atlassian, Deepak worked as the Head of Devops and SRE at NXP Semiconductors, where they led the transformation of legacy code to new Springboot Microservices and migrated to a container ecosystem using Kubernetes and Istio.

Deepak has also held positions such as Devops Evangelist and Devops Architect at Envestnet | Yodlee and Staff Devops Engineer at Aruba Networks. Additionally, Deepak worked as a Principal DevOps Engineer at VeraHQ, where they set up the cloud infrastructure for a security startup.

Earlier in their career, Deepak served as a Senior Devops Engineer at Intuit India and IBM, specializing in server configuration management, AWS cloud infrastructure support, automation, and middleware project setup and support.

Deepak started their career as a PERL Programmer at IDCR Inter Data Consulting (India) Pvt Ltd and later worked as a Senior System Analyst at Sonata Software, where they led workshops and Proofs of Technology for customers and colleagues.

Deepak's work experience showcases their expertise in DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, automation, and middleware project setup and support.

Deepak Biswas completed an Executive Program on AI at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E (ISE) degree in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, which they attended from 2001 to 2005.
