Majid Laissi has a long and varied work experience in the tech industry. Majid is currently employed as a Full Stack Engineer at Exerp since 2021. Prior to that, they were a System Architect and Development Manager at Capgemini from 2010 to 2021. From 2010 to 2008, they were the Support Team Director - Responsable Cellule Support at Atos Origin, where they managed two teams of 15+ engineers, coordinated discussions between the teams to design and implement the client’s requirement, and resolved technical issues. From 2008 to 2004, they were the Managing Director at Expanded Payement Intrenatinal, where they were responsible for company management and project direction, as well as the development of Card24™ solution. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Capgemini as a Project Manager and Software Engineer. As a Project Manager, they managed small and medium-sized teams in constant contact with clients on all phases of the project. As a Software Engineer, they were responsible for application management of the prepaid billing software for Bouygues Telecom, development of several versions and change requests by the client, and participation in several phases of development of the project.
Majid Laissi obtained their Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Telecom Bretagne between 2002 and 2004. Majid also attended Classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles from 1999 to 2001. In addition, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Stanford University in April 2021 and a Multimedia Networks certification from EURECOM in January 2004.
