Kutay Ustuner

Kutay Ustuner has been working in the field of imaging systems for over 30 years. Kutay started their career as an engineer at Acuson, where they were a technical lead in the Advanced Development department. There, they were in charge of planning, coordination and technical and clinical optimization of the imaging features and transducers of the Sequoia 512 ultrasound platform. Kutay was also a technical contributor to advanced ultrasound imaging capabilities.

In 2000, they moved to Siemens Healthcare, where they became Principal Key Expert and Sr. Director of Advanced Development Cardiovascular. In this role, they were in charge of Advanced Development for Cardiovascular high-end ultrasound platforms.

Kutay is currently VP, Imaging Systems at Exo.

Kutay Ustuner received their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine. Kutay also holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor's degree in EE from the same school. Kutay also has a Bachelor of Science - BS from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University.
