Kevin Hancock

Kevin Hancock has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kevin is currently the Director of Sales Engineering at Exostar since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NetFoundry from March 2017 to May 2021, serving as the Director of Customer Success.

Kevin also had a long tenure at CollabNet, Inc. starting in 2001. During their time there, they held various positions, including Senior Director of Worldwide Field Operations, Director of Worldwide Services, Director of Worldwide Sales Engineering, and Manager of North American Sales Engineering. Kevin played a crucial role in leading and developing teams, creating sales materials and demonstrations, and providing training and solutions for Fortune 1000 customers.

Before joining CollabNet, Kevin worked as a Sales Engineer at 2nd Century Communications from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience at the University of Illinois Chicago as the Assistant to the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science from September 1994 to April 1999. In addition to their administrative responsibilities, they pursued a Masters in Information Sciences degree.

Kevin also has experience as the County Manager at Allegheny County Special Olympics from 1991 to 1994 and served in various roles, including Platoon Leader and XO, at 3-35 Armor from 1987 to 1990.

Kevin Hancock earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in the years 1982-1986. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration at the University of Pittsburgh from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, Kevin undertook coursework in Information Systems at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1997 to 2000, with only one course remaining to complete their Master of Information Systems (MIS) degree.
