Da Chuang has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Da is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Expedera since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco, where they held the role of Chief Scientist from November 2017 to June 2018, and Senior Director of Engineering from December 2016 to November 2017. Earlier at Cisco, Da Chuang integrated Memoir Systems into the company after its acquisition and served as the Senior Director of Engineering from October 2014 to November 2017. Before joining Cisco, they were the Co-Founder and COO of Memoir Systems from March 2009 to October 2014. Da Chuang began their career as a Technical Leader at Cisco from October 2005 to January 2009 and as a DMP Architect at NVIDIA from January 2005 to October 2005. Da also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from January 2002 to December 2004, a Senior Hardware Engineer at Abrizio/PMC-Sierra from April 1998 to November 2001, and a Hardware Engineer at Adaptec from 1993 to 1995.
Da Chuang has a strong educational background in the field of Electrical Engineering. Da earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1989 to 1993. Furthering their studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, from 1995 to 1997. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2002 to 2004.
