John O'Sullivan

John O'Sullivan has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the sports and tourism industries. John currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Experience Co since 2019. John is also a Director at Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) and Netball Australia, starting in 2021. Previously, they held the position of Commissioner at Tourism Western Australia from 2020 to 2021. John also has experience as the Managing Director of Tourism Australia from 2014 to 2019 and Chief Operating Officer at Fox Sports from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Events Queensland from 2010 to 2012 and Chief Commercial Officer at Football Federation Australia from 2004 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Business Development at Octagon CSI from 2001 to 2004.

John O'Sullivan's education history begins with their secondary school education at Brisbane Boys College from 1984 to 1987. John then attended Griffith University from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Leisure Studies with a focus on business. In 1998, O'Sullivan pursued further education at AGSM @ UNSW Business School and completed an Executive MBA in Business Strategy. Lastly, in 2017, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors for a Directors Course.
