Ben Leonard

Ben Leonard, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. In 2004, they worked as a Senior Director at Carlson Marketing Worldwide, leading product development and operations teams. Ben also served as a Program Management Consultant at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. and Express Scripts. BEN later joined Prime Therapeutics, where they held positions as Sr. Director in both the Project Management Office and Enterprise Project Management Office. Additionally, Ben worked as a Consultant at Upton Hill and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Colorado Technical University. BEN founded Perception Navigator LLC in 2011 and served as Principle Analyst. Ben also held the role of Vice President of Information Technology on an interim basis at Scholarship America in 2021. Currently, they are working as a Partner and Chief Delivery Officer at ExperienceIT. Ben completed their PhD research on the impacts of social networks on innovation success, with a planned completion date of August 2011.

BEN completed this degree in 1991. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1999 to 2001, Ben attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Marketing.

In 2007, Ben embarked on their doctoral studies at the University of South Australia. BEN focused their research on the impacts of social networks on technology acceptance. Their dedication and hard work paid off, as they successfully defended their dissertation in 2011, earning him a PhD.

While their formal education journey has been impressive, Ben Leonard has also pursued additional certifications to further enhance their skills. In 2017, they completed courses such as "Getting Started: Agile Meets Design Thinking," "Managing an Agile Team," and "Running Product Design Sprints" through Coursera Course Certificates. In 2018, they obtained certification in Agile Software Development from Coursera as well. Furthermore, in 2018 and 2019, Ben obtained certifications as a Certified Scaled Agile 4 Product Owner/Product Manager and as a Certified SAFe 4 Program Consultant and Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant, respectively, from Scaled Agile, Inc.
