Buwaneka Herath is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as a DevOps Consultant at Volvo Cars and a Senior Cloud Engineer at Explipro Group AB, Buwaneka previously worked as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Consultant at ECARX and held multiple roles at Pearson, including Technical Lead - SRE and Associate Technical Specialist - SRE. Buwaneka's expertise encompasses feature development and maintenance for the "Bitesize" platform, utilizing a variety of technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and AWS services. Buwaneka holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing, specialized in Software Engineering from the University of Staffordshire, and possesses a Diploma in Information Technology from APIIT-Sri Lanka.
