Fermin Ballon

Fermin Ballon has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources. Fermin currently holds the position of Assistant Recruitment Manager at Explora Journeys since August 2022. Prior to this, Fermin worked at Royal Caribbean Group from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles including Senior Recruiter, Recruiter, Jr. Recruiter, and Sr. Strategic Sourcing Associate in the Global Talent Acquisition department. Their responsibilities included conducting interviews, hiring processes, and making job offers in accordance with company policies. Fermin also has experience as an HR Associate at Cognizant from 2015 to 2016, and as a Crew Chief at McDonald's Philippines from 2010 to 2015.

Fermin Ballon completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Development Management from De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, which took place from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Fermin has obtained multiple certifications in various areas related to human resources and professional development. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn and include topics such as interviewing job candidates, performance-based hiring, diversity recruiting, strategic human resources, attracting and working with Gen Z, hiring and retaining top millennial talent, and many others. These certifications were obtained between April 2020 and September 2020.
