Derek Sanders

Derek Sanders is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in adaptive logic development and data science. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Adaptive Logic Development at ExploreLearning since October 2021, Derek previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Virtual Instruments from October 2016 to February 2020. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Xangati from October 2004 to October 2016 and served as Senior Manager at Ciena Corporation from 1998 to 2004. Derek holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Operations Research from Stanford University, completed in 1987.
