Sharon McMichael

Sharon McMichael has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sharon'smost recent position was as Vice President of Human Resources at Expo 2020 Dubai, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant for the Pan American and Parapan American Games 2019, focusing on workforce management. Sharon has also served as the Director of HR and Workforce at AIMAG, and as the Director of Workforce and Accreditation at the Baku 2015 European Games Operation Committee. Sharon gained extensive experience in workforce management and accreditation during their tenure as Head of Accreditation and Uniforms at both the Baku 2015 European Games and London 2012. Sharon's earlier career includes a role as Senior HR Manager at Unisys and as Corporate Development Manager at Abbey Life Assurance Company Ltd. Sharon'swealth of experience in various HR and workforce management roles makes their a highly valuable asset to any organization.

Sharon McMichael completed their secondary education at Bishopbriggs High School from 1984 to 1991. Sharon then pursued higher education at the University of Dundee, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Contemporary European Studies from 1991 to 1995.
