Marjan Faraidooni

Marjan Faraidooni currently serves as the Chief of Education and Culture and CHRO at Expo City Dubai since January 2023, overseeing iconic attractions and exhibitions, having previously led the strategy for the World Expo’s legacy city. From March 2013 to December 2022, Faraidooni was the Chief Visitor Experience Officer and CHRO at Expo 2020 Dubai, where responsibilities included the curation and operations of thematic pavilions aligned with the event's core themes. Faraidooni also held the position of Senior Vice President for Legacy at Expo 2020, focusing on strategies to transition the mega event into a sustainable urban environment. Earlier career experiences include roles at Dubai Holding, Dubai Healthcare City, and the Executive Office of Their Highness Sheikh Mohammed, starting with an academic role at Sharjah Women’s College. Educational background includes a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor’s in Physiology, both from Boston University.
