Shakeel Ahmed

Shakeel Ahmed is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud operations and big data strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Big Data Cloud at Expo City Dubai since April 2023, Shakeel previously held the position of Senior Manager Cloud Operations at Expo 2020 Dubai from June 2019 to April 2023. With a strong background in cloud technology, including AWS cloud implementation and IT service management, Shakeel has demonstrated expertise in migrating data center applications to the cloud and managing cloud infrastructures. Prior roles include Head of Cloud Operations Center at Cambridge Technology Enterprises, where key responsibilities encompassed cloud architecture, security, and operational excellence, as well as serving as System Architect at Conrep Inc. and Desktop and Network Engineer at SISI-CMTES Info Systems. Shakeel's educational credentials include a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education.
