Sheena Khan

Sheena Khan is an accomplished professional specializing in environmental and educational programs, currently serving as the Head of Environment and Culture Programs at Expo City Dubai since October 2022. In this role, Sheena develops and manages initiatives focusing on urban biodiversity, biophilic wellbeing, fungi and ethnomycology, and environmental leadership within the UAE's cultural sector. Prior to this, Sheena held the position of Head of Education Programs for Terra at Expo 2020 Dubai, where Sheena was instrumental in the development of educational strategies. With extensive experience in sustainability, including roles at Emirates Green Building Council and The Change Initiative, Sheena's expertise encompasses program management, capacity building, and corporate sustainability strategy development. Sheena holds multiple degrees, including a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from Harvard University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Responsible Tourism from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
