Matt Butler

Matt Butler has over a decade of work experience in various roles related to recruiting and program management. Matt is currently working as a Senior Recruiter at Exponent, where they focus on linking highly talented individuals, mostly at the Ph.D./postdoc level, with career opportunities in technical consulting. Prior to this, Matt worked at Meta as a Ph.D. and Postdoc Technical Sourcing Recruiter, sourcing world-class scientists and engineers for research-focused roles within the Reality Labs. Matt also previously worked as a Recruiter at Exponent, where they focused on recruiting talent for technical consulting roles. Matt has experience in program management as well, having worked as a Program Manager at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they helped manage executive education programs for mid and senior-level executives. Before that, they worked as a Program Manager at Florida Atlantic University - College of Business, responsible for managing a set of week-long executive education programs. Matt also worked as an Academic Advisor at the same institution. Matt began their career as a University Recruiter at Nova Southeastern University.

Matt Butler has a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Management from Nova Southeastern University. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Spanish from Flagler College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matt obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
