Samuel Amoroso

Samuel Amoroso has extensive experience in engineering and academia. Samuel is currently working as a Senior Managing Engineer at Exponent since February 2018. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Instructor at Louisiana State University starting from August 2008. From June 2006 to February 2018, they worked as a Consulting Engineer at Forte and Tablada, Inc. Their educational journey includes being a Graduate Fellow at Louisiana State University from August 2003 to August 2006, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Wind Engineering and Structural Engineering. Before that, they worked at HNTB as an Engineer II from May 1999 to July 2003.

Samuel Amoroso obtained their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, graduating in 1999. Samuel then pursued further education at the same institution and acquired their Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering and Wind Engineering in 2007.
